Community Guidelines
How we keep discussions and the project gallery kind, helpful and safe.
Be kind and helpful
- Encourage other learners. Give feedback about the project, not the person.
- No bullying, insults, mean jokes or hateful language.
- Keep posts about coding, AI, robotics and your projects.
Keep personal information private
- Never share your surname, school, address, phone number, email or social media accounts — yours or anyone else's.
- Posts with contact details, links or social media handles are blocked automatically.
- Don't post photos that show faces, school uniforms or where you live.
- There is no private messaging on AIcoddy. If anyone asks you to chat somewhere else, tell a trusted adult and report it.
How moderation works
- Every topic, reply and comment is checked by a moderator before it appears.
- Moderators can hide or remove content and restrict accounts. Guardians are told when their child's post is moderated.
- Projects only appear in the public gallery with guardian consent and moderator approval.
Reporting
Use the Report button on any post, comment or project, or contact us. We aim to review routine reports within one business day. Reports about possible harm to a child are prioritised for immediate triage.
This is not an emergency service. If a child is in immediate danger, tell a trusted adult and contact your local emergency services right away. Reports to AIcoddy are reviewed by our team, and child-safety reports are prioritised, but they are not monitored around the clock.
